This article analyzes the impact of urban ecclesiastic assets’ fragmentation in 19th Perugia focussing on buildings, transactions and actors involved in the process of manomorta’s liquidation. Through a deep attention on time and urban space, the paper shows the role played by real estate market in creating a new urban elite. It also provides some empirical evidence on dynamics of conventional mechanisms leading real estate pricing during this period.
